Honorary State Regent Betty Duncan

The following was sent today by State Regent Leonora Branca:

Dear California Daughters,

I am saddened to inform you that California Honorary State Regent, Betty Duncan, passed away this week. Betty was State Regent 1982-1984. During her term, State Headquarters in Glendora was acquired. Betty went on to serve at the National level as Vice President General 1984-1987 and Organizing Secretary General 1989-1992. She resided in Waycross, GA.

Betty continued to be active in DAR, serving on Board of Trustees at KDS. Most recently Betty joined the California Daughters at the 117th Continental Congress in Washington, DC.
