At this meeting, we will be introduced to the new California State Officers-Elect! State Regent-Elect Leonora Branca will tell us about her plans for the next two years, and will introduce us to her board.
Additionally, we will be electing our new District VIII Officers to serve for the 2008-2010 term.
Finally, a couple of fundraising activities will be taking place:
- We will be voicing the beautiful Project Patriot pin, so please sell those tickets to your chapter members! More tickets are available for the asking!
- We will have and end-of-the-year silent auction, so don't forget to bring your "white elephant" items to donate... you know, those items that you don't really want, but don't know what to do with. Here's the perfect opportunity to get them out of your house and start your spring cleaning!
Cost is $24.00 per person. Please send your list of attendees, menu choices, and ONE CHAPTER CHECK to District VIII Treasurer Virginia Crystal by May 1, 2008.
Hostess chapters for this meeting are Palisade Glacier, San Fernando Valley, and Tomo-Kahni. Deirdra and Linda are already cooking up something special for this meeting - thank you, ladies!
