At this meeting, we will be honoring the District winners of our American History Essay Contest, Christopher Columbus Essay Contest, and DAR Good Citizens contest. This meeting is OPEN TO ALL members who would like to attend, so please bring as large a group as possible to support these talented kids. We do want them to feel special and appreciated.
The menu will be a “BBQ Buffet” Luncheon, which includes Chicken Marsala, BBQ Tri Tip, Garden Salad, Red Roasted Potatoes, Associated Vegetables, Warm Rolls & Butter, and for dessert Cheesecake with Strawberry Glaze, Coffee, Tea, or Ice Tea.
Cost is $27.00 per person.
Please send your list of attendees and chapter check to District VIII Treasurer Julie Stranges by February 12, 2009.
