Valerie Johnson Fondly Remembered

It is with sadness that the members of Alliklik chapter report the death of chapter member Valerie Johnson. Valerie was a charter member of the chapter when it was organized in October of 1976. She was inactive for a number of years but was reinstated in July of 2008. Most active during the 1980's, she was the Chapter's American Indian Committee Chair from 1983-1987. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her fellow Daughters in the chapter.

Services for Valerie will be held this Saturday, August 22nd, at Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church, 22508 Copper Hill Drive, Santa Clarita, CA 91350. The Rosary will be said at 9:30 and the funeral service begins at 10:00.
