Don't forget: your JAC contest entries are due to State Committee Chairman Ann Winchell no later than Monday, February 1, 2010.Contest and committee information can be found on the State Chairman's web page.
There are many ways in which kids can get involved: Poster design, stamp design, banner, photographic essay, community service, poem or short story. These entries do not have to come from a Junior American Citizens Club, but all youth, aged pre-school through 12th grade, can find the contest that matches their interests and are within the contest requirements.
If your chapter sponsors a C.A.R. society, please encourage them to participate!
This year’s National Theme is "America, Land of the Free and Home of the Brave." Detailed information is available on the NSDAR website.
Chapter regents: please remind your JAC committee chairman to submit entries to Ann by February 1st. If you have any questions about JAC or the contests, please don't hesitate to contact me.
