Rancho Simi Members
Enjoyed Summer Together, and Celebrated Constitution Week in September!

Even though the chapter did not have “official” meetings during the summer, Rancho Simi members were busy getting together and getting to know each other.  In June, member Carol Perciavalle opened up her home for a movie screening (complete with popcorn and drinks) to watch “You Shall Cry No More Forever.”  In July, members were able to get together for different purposes.  First, some members went to attend a movie together.  Then, member Tammy Collier opened up her home for a sewing party where members got together and sewed bags to be given to the VA.  And, finally, in July, members and our newest “verified-waiting for NBOM approval” member, Marcy Taylar Razum, got together for an evening on the patio enjoying Mexican food at a local Simi restaurant.

In September, members went to a middle school and gave a presentation about the Constitution and gave out miniature Constitution booklets to the 8th graders at the school.  Members also went to the Simi Valley City Council meeting where the Mayor gave the chapter a proclamation for Constitution Week.
