Chatsworth Chapter 7th Annual Women Veterans Lluncheon
Chatsworth Chapter's annual event to honor our Women Veterans

The 7th Annual Womens Veteran’s Luncheon was a pleasure for our Chatsworth Chapter to be a part of. Started and continued by our own Julie Stranges, this event has become an opportunity for all in the San Fernando Valley to express our appreciation for those women who now or have been in the defense of our Country.  Julie gets the cooperation of VA Voluntary Service, Veterans Service Organizations and other community organizations to come together to put on this wonderful event. Los Toros Restaurant catered the luncheon with their delicious Mexican dishes. Polytechnic High School ROTC did the presentation of Colors and their students also volunteered to serve the lunch. The Keynote speaker was Walter Ostromecki, a US Vietnam Vet. He spoke on amazing women in the past that sacrificed and fought for our country. Other remarks were given by Debbie Lasker, Marianne Davis, Callie Wight and Stan Moroncini.
Our Chatsworth Chapter is privileged to be a part of the community in unity to show appreciation for the women who have given of their time and lives to serve others. We were able to give the women a parting gift from the DAR as well as a gift from the My Health E-Vet. Women of all ages were able to attend and share their love for their branch of the military and their continuing love of Country. Thank you again Women Veterans we love you!
