The Chatsworth Chapter’s Booth on Pioneer Day at Chatsworth Park

Pioneer Day is an Annual event put on by the Chatsworth Historical Society. There are craft booths, a chili cook-off, and Pioneer demonstrations. People from all over the San Fernando Valley come for the fun.

                      It was well attended by the Chatsworth Chapter of the DAR. Goodies are given out to all: pencils, fans, flags, candy, necklaces all with a patriotic theme.  Julie Stranges finds the best patriotic mementoes to hand out. The booth is always a big success with all ages. Information about the DAR is given out and sometimes we even find people in the crowd who are related to our own patriots!
