District VIII Meeting June 1st, 2013
This meeting was hostessed by Chatsworth Chapter. We covered a lot of important business at this meeting.
State Protocol Chair Sharon Maas gave us
a lot of useful information. But it wasn’t all work…the birthday cake for Sharon was a surprise. And it was good too!
We also had the first ever duo leading the Star Spangled Banner, Marilyn Look regent of Conejo Valley and Judy Hall Registrar.

1. The next District
VIII meeting is October 26, 2013. That
is a Saturday. It will be hostessed by
Don Jose de Ortega Chapter. Any and all
chapter members are welcome to attend.
2. Southern Council
will be at the LAX Marriott. Because it
is so close, get a group together and attend for the day. See the CSSDAR
members only website for details.
