On behalf of Mrs. Young, it is with deep regret that I write to inform you of the death of Honorary State Regent Ruth Eleanor Jones Jorgenson, State Regent California, 1992-1994. 

     Mrs. Jorgenson passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2013. There will be a memorial service/celebration of life on October 26, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., at the Cypress Community Church, 681 Monterey  Salinas Hwy, Salinas, CA 93908, (831) 484-2141. 

     An obituary is pending till a few days prior to the service.  It will be published at that time.  

Ruth's husband, Warren, will be residing at their home in Pebble Beach for a couple more months.
