Conejo Valley Chapter Members 

                  Visit Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall

                                             

 

On May 23^rd. Conejo Valley Chapter members gathered in remembrance of the fallen Vietnam War heroes at the Mobile Antelope Valley Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial Wall in Simi Valley.  Our Chapter has become a “Commemorative Partner with The United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration”.  Chapter Treasurer, Brenda Nakagawa located her husband Wayne’s flight school friend, Charles C. Winston, III’s name on the wall.  Prayers were said to thank the service men for their sacrifices.  And Brenda placed flowers to honor Charles’ and the other men for their service to our nation.

DAR Sister Linda Mustion from the San Fernando Valley Chapter joined us in our tribute to the Vietnam War heroes.  As a docent for the Memorial, Linda gave us an introduction to the significant aspects of the wall.  Attending were Brenda Nakagawa, Christina Conley-Haddock, Nancy Kilbourn, Barbara Kula, Betty Hutson, Linda Mustion, Judy Hall, Sandi Selditz and Penny Adams-O’Neill.
