Prayer Requests

Dear District VIII Daughters,

We have more to pray about. I know many of you have been praying concerning the fires here in SoCal. Sadly, yesterday word was received that Chatsworth Chapter member Melissa Lovelady has lost her home. They worked hard to save their home and thought all was ok. Then the winds picked up and a spark ignited the entire house and all their life's treasures were gone. She and her husband are staying with her Chatsworth Chapter member-daughter, Nancy Copsey. Please contact Melissa through Nancy with any cards or phone calls. Nancy's contact information is available in the CSSDAR State Yearbook or through contacting a Chatsworth Chapter member who would have that information. Melissa, please know that our hearts and prayers are with you and your family at this traumatic time. We pray that you will have a renewed sense of the Lord's comfort, guidance and provision.

Another prayer concern was received from Alliklik Chapter. Chapter member Pat Ansite's husband passed away Tuesday after a long illness. Please lift her and her family up in prayer at this time of sadness.

Thank you for your constant response in prayer to the many requests of the last few months. Although we do not see each other very often, praying for each other is truly a way to stay connected during the time we are apart.
