Update to Honoring Women Veterans Tea

We received the following updated information from event co-chairs Julie Stranges and Deirdra Beller regarding the 3rd Annual "Honoring Women Veterans and Active Military" Tea, to be held at the Sepulveda VA on Saturday, October 25, 2008:

Brig. Gen. Wilma Vaught, U. S. A. F. (Ret), will be attending the luncheon. She is the founder of the Women in Military Service for America Memorial (WIMSA) at Arlington Cemetery in Washington, D.C.

She is also responsible for forging the path for women in the military to receive promotions to the higher offices. She is truly an incredible woman and was present for two nights at Continental Congress in July 2008. We are honored to welcome her as our Special Guest Speaker.

Thanks,
Julie and Deirdra
If you would like to attend this exciting event, please RSVP no later than October 20, 2008.
