DISTRICT VIII
The 83rd Annual State Conference of the
California State Society, Children of the American Revolution, is scheduled for
February 22 - 23, 2013, at the Embassy Suites Glendale-Los Angeles.
The C.S.S.C.A.R. seeks your support as
a Patron of our event. Your donation will be acknowledged in the conference
program, and you will also receive a copy of the program. Please list your
affiliation with one of the C.A.R. groups in our District VIII - Juan Crespi
Society or Juan Bautista de Anza.
Your donation of $10 or more will help
with the conference, and the state president's project "Hounds for
Heroes." Through Canine Companions for Independence, highly trained
assistance dogs are partnered with wounded veterans. The current C.S.S.C.A.R.
President, Marissa Mancebo, has been raising one of these companion dogs, and
will present it, along with donations, to CCI.
