C.A.R. State Officers Gather for Leadership Meeting

On Saturday, May 17, 2008, members of the C.S.S.C.A.R. State Board met at the Borncamp home in Encino for a leadership conference.

After the event, they volunteered their time at Operation Gratitude in Van Nuys. It was very hot in the Armory (no air conditioning!), but members worked hard all afternoon, packing well over 4,000 boxes for our soldiers and sailors overseas.

You might remember that State President Lucas Borncamp has selected Operation Gratitude as his project for the year.

These ladies are working hard!

Tired and hot, but happy to have volunteered for such a worthy cause.
