Mary Frances Fewel Thompson was presented with a beautiful 60-year membership pin celebrating her years of service in the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. She was the honoree at the February 2009 monthly meeting of the Fernanda Maria Chapter, Van Nuys, California.
Mrs. Thompson has been a member of the Fernanda Maria Chapter for 46 years, after transferring from Fresno Chapter, Fresno, California. She was born in Missouri and originally joined the Warrensburg Chapter, Warrensburg, Missouri.
She has been actively involved in the Fernanda Maria Chapter as Chaplain, as well as 1st and 2nd Vice Regent, and boasts twenty-one proven Revolutionary War ancestors.
