It is with sincerest sympathy we share the sad news that Nancy Kilbourn's mother died on Sunday, March 1st.Nancy is District Recording Secretary and member of the Conejo Valley Chapter. She sent word yesterday that last weekend (Feb 28th) she had been called to Arizona to be at her mother's bedside after her mother had taken a turn for the worse (she has been ill for some time).
There was a brief graveside service and in attendance were members of her mother's DAR Chapter, the Tombstone Chapter. Nancy said having DAR daughters at the graveside was a help to her. Please keep Nancy in your prayers as she walks through the difficult days ahead.
